What effect would taking a weight loss aid have if no food was eaten after taking it as reccommended?

i have naturopathicas’s ‘fat magnet’ and was curious as to whether it would work even if you did not eat anything after consumption of the tablets. Would it result in increased weight loss, or have no effect at all?
